Our external optical drive not only burns and reads CDs and DVDs, but also serves as a USB hub for laptops, accommodating USB hard drives, wireless mice and keyboards, computer heat sinks, and other USB accessories. The card slot allows for easy transfer of camera photos and video files to your computer (note: the SD and TF ports cannot be used simultaneously).

The maximum read capacity of our drive is 8.5GB, so portable CD/DVD recorders cannot play discs exceeding that size. If you experience instability when using the front USB port, please connect the optical drive to the rear USB port of your desktop or laptop, and simultaneously connect the power cord.

If your device runs on Windows 10 or later, you may need to install a VLC media player to properly play DVDs or CDs. There is a reset hole next to the pop-up button, which can be used with a pin to eject the tray if it cannot be ejected correctly.

It's important to note that our drive does not support cars, televisions, tablets, smartphones, projectors, Blu-ray discs, iPads, Chromebooks, or Surface. Additionally, the newly released Windows system has discontinued the use of external DVD media player software.

To ensure optimal performance, the DVD drive should be connected directly to a USB port on your laptop, rather than through a USB hub. Additionally, make sure the CD/DVD is properly placed and not scratched.

Remember, the internal laser light source may be harmful to your eyes, so avoid looking directly at it. Keep the machine steady on the desktop and away from strong magnetic objects. Data transfer speed can also be affected by your computer and system environment.
